This policy explains what personal data MedWing collects, why, who it is shared with, and your rights. It applies to this website, the MedWing customer app and the MedWing Pharmacy partner app. By creating an account you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
MedWing Health Care Solutions (sole proprietorship of Matte Saritha), 6-1-16/308/1, Mulagundla Raghavaiah Nagar-5, Mamatha Hospital Road, Khammam, Telangana 507002, India (“MedWing”, “we”). Contact: healthcaremedwing@gmail.com, +91 99498 98686.
2. What we collect
- Account: your name, email address, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider; we never see it) and mobile number.
- Claims: patient and policyholder details (names, relationship, date of birth, gender, policy and card numbers, employee ID, address, contact details), and the documents you upload — insurance/health cards, prescriptions, pharmacy and diagnostic bills, hospital documents — with the details read from them.
- Medicine orders: prescriptions you upload, delivery addresses, quotations, payments status and references, invoices and courier tracking details.
- Support and website messages: requests and messages you send us, with the name, mobile number and email you give.
- Device: a notification token so we can send order alerts to your phone.
Your documents may contain health information. We collect only what is needed to prepare your claim forms and process your medicine orders.
3. Why we use it
- To read your documents and fill your insurer’s/TPA’s claim form, which you download, sign and submit yourself. MedWing does not submit claims for you.
- To process medicine orders with our partner pharmacy, take payment and arrange delivery.
- To manage your free trial and claim access, send you order notifications, and respond to support requests and messages.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
4. How documents are read
Text is read from your photos and PDFs on your phone (Google ML Kit on-device text recognition). You review and correct what was read before it is used.
5. Who we share it with
- Our partner pharmacy — only for medicine orders: your prescription, name, mobile and delivery address for that order.
- Razorpay — processes payments. Card and bank details are entered with Razorpay; MedWing never receives or stores them.
- Supabase — hosts our database and files (Mumbai, India region).
- Google Firebase — delivers notifications to your phone.
- Couriers — the delivery address, through the pharmacy, to deliver your order.
- Authorities — only when the law requires it.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that chat.
6. Security
Your data is stored in private storage; each customer can access only their own records, and the pharmacy only the orders sent to it. Connections are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
7. How long we keep it
- Claims: each claim, with its uploaded documents (insurance card, bills, prescriptions), the details read from them and the claim form, is deleted 12 months after the claim was created. Download your claim form PDF if you want to keep a copy.
- Unfinished claims (no claim form made) are deleted after 30 days.
- Medicine order prescriptions are deleted 12 months after the order was delivered or cancelled. The order’s quotation, invoice and payment record are kept for the period required by tax law.
- Notifications in the app are deleted after 90 days.
- Your profile, patients, policyholders and saved addresses are kept while your account is open.
When you delete your account, your claims, documents, patients, addresses and other data are deleted straight away. For medicine orders you paid for, the order’s invoice and payment record are kept for the period required by tax law, with your name, mobile, address and prescription removed.
8. Your rights
- See and correct your details in the app at any time.
- Withdraw consent and delete your account: in the app, Profile → Delete my account, or see how to delete your account.
- Ask us any question about your data, or raise a complaint, with our Grievance Officer (below).
9. Children
Accounts are for adults (18+). A parent or guardian may add their children as patients on a claim.

If we change this policy, we will update the version above and ask you to agree again in the app.
